Prosthetic socks help the amputee with the comfort and fit of their prosthetic leg. Many times, an amputees' limb will fluctuate in size during the day. Adding or removing socks to compensate for the change in size is vital. An amputee should have 10 to 12 socks so that there are clean socks ready at all times.
