With a new prosthetic limb, an above-knee amputee can get up out of their wheel chair or off of their crutches and return to a normal, productive lifestyle!

A reliable knee is an essential part of the prosthetic leg for an above-knee amputee. There are many types of prosthetic knees available. Like the foot, we are able to match the knee to the amputee's lifestyle. Amputees who run or are highly active will need a different type of knee than someone who will only be walking on their leg.
